Frequently Asked Questions

  • At your first appointment, we’ll take the time to chat about your medical history, symptoms, and goals. I’ll do an assessment to understand your posture, movement, and how your pelvic floor is functioning. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that feels right for you.

  • Not at all! Internal exams are completely optional and only done if you’re comfortable. They can give us helpful insights about your pelvic floor, but there are plenty of other ways we can assess things if you’d prefer.

  • Just come in something comfy that lets you move easily—think yoga pants, shorts or loose-fitting clothes. Depending on the area we’re working on, you might need to adjust your outfit slightly, but I’ll always make sure you feel comfortable and respected.

  • It really depends on your situation and goals. Some people notice improvements after just a few sessions, while others might benefit from ongoing support. I’ll create a clear plan with you so you know what to expect.
